Role Description:

As a Senior Accountant within our international Finance team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data across our global operations. Working within a fast-paced, multinational environment (150–200 employees across Europe, APAC, and North America), you will oversee multi-currency reconciliations, intercompany transactions, tax compliance support, and regional audit requirements.

 Key Responsibilities:

General Accounting & Financial Close

  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across multiple entities.
  • Perform detailed reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts
  • Review P&L activity for accuracy, completeness, and proper period recognition.
  • Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, reclassifications, and standard month-end entries.
  • Maintain well-documented workpapers to support financial reporting and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with global accounting policies and internal control standards.

Intercompany and Transfer Pricing

  • Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations and coordinate settlement with global teams.
  • Maintain transfer pricing policies and ensure cross-charges and allocations follow internal policy guidelines.

Local Tax & Regulatory Compliance (Europe & APAC)

  • Support the preparation and submission of tax compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions, including the United Kingdom, Belgium, Singapore, and Australia
  • Gather and validate data requested by external tax advisors and regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for all tax and compliance activities.

Audit Support

  • Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for external audits.
  • Assist with statutory audits across entities and coordinate with regional advisors.

Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Accounting qualification preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of accounting experience in a global, multi-entity environment.
  • Strong experience with balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger support, and month-end close.
  • Knowledge of multi-currency accounting and transfer pricing.
  • Familiarity with UK/EU and APAC tax compliance requirements (VAT/GST, statutory filings).
  • Proficiency with ERP systems; NetSuite and Certinia (FinancialForce) experience preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills across regions and time zones.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
